Download Help Page

First of all...

1. First of all, check that you can get into the download library, which is here:

http://www.selfworks.net/goodybagtreats/

2. You'll be asked for a password before you can access that page. The password changes each month, and is sent out to Selfworks Goodybag members free each month.

-If you're already a member, search for the last Goodybag email in your inbox.

-If you need to join the Goodybag (it's free) go to:

http://www.selfworks.net/free_personal_development.html

and follow the instructions there.

-If you are a Goodybag member, but can't find your current password, step two above and rejoin anyway (the system should, fingers crossed, be able to make sure you're only on the list once in total).

Once you are at the download site

Once you can access the goodies, select what you want to collect via the navigation menu on the left hand side.

Take note of whether each goodie you want asks you to left-click or right click, and be sure to follow that instruction. (Right-clicking accesses material we're allowed to hold on our site by the author, left-clicking means that you have to visit the author's site to grab it).

Once you know that you can right-click and download an item...

To save an item to your desktop, please:

1. Right-click the link below with your mouse. (Mac users, please hold down control whilst you click to get the same effect).

2. Select  and click on "Save Target As" from the right-click menu.

3. Use the screen that pops up to save the file wherever you wish on your computer, just as you normally would.

4. Be sure that you have the free Adobe Reader on your machine. Most people do, but in order to be sure you have the most secure version, we would strongly suggest that you upgrade to the equally free Reader 8.

5. You probably also have software to play MP3s already on your computer, and/or elsewhere. Just in case you don't, it's available here. (Mac users should be able to use the ITunes software that's part of your system).


6. Remember that you can always email help@selfworks.net if you need help, either with accessing the course technically, or with the content itself.
